Neither! There's a much better, natural way of doing that. It's eating fiber, in higher amounts than normal. Try to eat one salad a day everyday (or even two if you can), but don't load it with anything, all you need is lettuce and tomatoes (of course you can add onions and garlic, or even olives) but stay away from anything else.
Also try to incorporate more sources of fiber such as spinach, brocoly, coliflower, tomatoes, carrots, etc. and fruits (i.e.: apples, bananas, peaches, etc).
Another thing you can eat is wheat bran, it's high in fiber and excelent sourse to cleanse the colon.
If you do this daily (about 30 grams of fiber a day), in a matter of 3-4 weeks only you can change your colon composure drastically. Also eating fiber will reverse the existance of polyps (early colon cancer cells).
Eat well, and be healthy!
Hope this helps.Colon cleansing- what do you do to clean out the gunk on your intestine walls. A doctor, pill, water therapy?
there's oral laxatives (called go-lytely) that surgeons use to cleanse a patient's bowels prior to colon surgery. those do a pretty good job, but they tase pretty bad.
enemas can also do it, but it's hard to reach the upper parts of the intestines with an enema.Colon cleansing- what do you do to clean out the gunk on your intestine walls. A doctor, pill, water therapy?
Contrary to what some hucksters tell you on the TV infomercials, Gunk does not accumulate on the walls of your intestine like it does in your home plumbing.
Conversely, many Americans eat a low fiber diet that can lead to constiipation and possibly hemorrhoids and colon cancer. Eat more cereal, fruits and vegetables. Prune juice is a natural laxative, inexpensive and healthy.
The colon cleans itself and you really don't need to do anything like detox, or water therapy, colonic irrigation etc.
