to purify*What is a scene where water aids in cleansing or purifying a person?
I have two examples.
In the book The Great Gatsby, Gatsby dies in a pool. He was swimming and then he got shot in the pool. He is free from Daisy now. At first he was making up who he was and changed his name to impress Daisy. After he dies in the pool, he is free from her and he can be who is. (I believe that is the significance of the water. I know that the pool does mean Gatsby is being purified, but not sure about the right explanation.)
Then you have Romeo and Juliet. If you watched the new movie with Leonardo Dicaprio, instead of the balcony scene you have it taken place near a pool. It shows rebirth. Romeo and Juliet are going to be together.
Hope this helps :)What is a scene where water aids in cleansing or purifying a person?
in one of my books this guys arms is torn from his body and he uses orge magics(he's a cycloid) to hel himself, but he mispronounced it and made a new arm, not patching up the torn limb.
