Girls when one uses warm water prior to cleansing the face?

Is this to open up pores so that all make up and grime and other impurities reach the surface so as to get rid of dirt easily?Girls when one uses warm water prior to cleansing the face?
i don't use hot water because it dries my face out, plus cold wakes me up.


by the way, your pores never actually open, they just get wider becuase of all the dirt...im not sure why everyone always says that steam ';opens them';.Girls when one uses warm water prior to cleansing the face?
I do know that warm is suppose to open the pores, and so in a way I think it is yes. But also I would rather pre rinse my face with warm water over cold. : )


I would use hot steam. Wash your face in the shower is always a good idea.
try using steam in your shower, not warm water, that doesn't help (or at least i think it doesn't)
Yess!!! the steam in showers and warm water open your pores so u get a deeper clean. also if you rub an ice cube over ur face before applying make up you reduce bags under ur eyes and close pores so make up doesnt seep in
water directly onto skin is not good it dries it out you should try avoid your face in shower only use water when taking off your cleanser. water should be applied after cleansing.


ever wonder why your skin feels tight after shower? your pores open and all dirt and grime gets in and then when you get out the pores close trapping the dirt.
