Cleansing drinking water with Full Spectrum bulb?

I bought this book..

http://www.parcellscenter.com/

and it said the cleanest healthiest water was water that had the light of a full spectrum bulb shoned on it in a gallon glass jar for at least 4 hours

Anyone tried this?

Where can i get these bulbs and glass water jugs?

Baloney.

The only light needed is UV light. Even that still needs to have a some form of filtration on it though. UV light will only kill any living organisms in it. The filtration process will remove those organisms, sediment, harmful minerals, and other contaminates. Full spectrum light will do a little as it will include UV but not much. After all some forms of light will actually help other stuff to grow in the water so that is simply just a retarded statement for this goofball company to make. Also UV can kill the organisms in a MUCH smaller amount ot time. 4 hours is much too long and will put a big strain on your utility bill.

Look into the eSpring purification system. They are the highest rated system on the market. They have a multi stage activated carbon bloc filter with a UV light. Only a distillery can get water cleaner. By year two it is actually cheaper per gallon than the cheap and ineffective Pur and Britta filters.Cleansing drinking water with Full Spectrum bulb?
I believe UV will be sufficient.
