You should drink about 64 ounces of water a day. That is equal to 8, 8oz glasses. It would be great if it was healthy, non contaminated , spring water, but even if it's tea or coffee, or juices, or wine or beer it counts.
If you're urine is dark, or your skin seems a bit wrinkly and doesn't snap right back, or if you're getting headaches, you're dehydrated. You need more water.
Usually most people drink enough, just because they know they are thirsty. Some people tho, replace water, with snacks or food , or soda.

You should NOT be drinking this basically all in one sitting. Just drink throughout the day what you can. If you get sick of just water, you can add some lemon or lime.
haha. this sounds crazy.. but in my health class, my teacher told us to try to do a experiment and drink one gallon of water a day. It cleanses your body, and he says it makes you feel wayyyy better. But.. it makes you pee a lot so... i suggest not going anywhere that's too far from a bathroom ahha.
ill say it takes 9 cups.
